As residents of Canvey Island, we are surrounded by water, with creeks to the north and the River Thames to the south. Water defines Canvey Island, creating a strong identity and pride in the area. It's important to understand both the positive and negative properties of water and to be prepared for any potential risks that may come with living near it.
